Things often never feel like they're changing in the moment, but they are! Be it new things we’re trying to master, things we’re trying to overcome, hard days, growth, or just feelings that should be long gone - at some point in our lives we questioned our progress and felt like we were moving too slow, but in the end, look where you are right now, you are gracefully moving towards where you are supposed to be.
Your progress may not initially look appealing or attractive, but inch by inch, you can sense by spirit that things are finally changing. Braveheart, I understand how frustrating it could be to feel that you've been called by God to something yet there was no evidence of it. To feel like God is leading us to new things, yet, nothing is changing. But hey, you know what, not all the ease of our lives is evidence of God’s love for us, Jesus’ death on the cross is, and nothing can change that. When conceiving new things, what we often neglect is that every birthing process is naturally painful, especially if you are called for something bigger than what you have demanded from God. It will stretch us. It will twist us and would sometimes require breaking us so He can make us new to fill us anew. In the book of Luke it says, "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved." Who we are becoming in the process of transition is more important than our FINALLYs or WANNA BEs. When going through massive shifts in life, remember to remain faithful and hold onto His promises. Embrace the discomfort and uncertainty with great FAITH. Yes, you have to allow yourself some time to adjust to the unfamiliar places, people, and things but at some point, you have to decide where Jesus is going and not remain where He was. Enjoy the process of transitions. Be patient with yourself and those around you. The scripture is constantly reminding us that God is with us and for us in every new place and new season. Look around you once again. This time, through your eyes of faith. As you have been stretched, your calling has enlarged and expanded. Notice that your space and influence have widened. You've grown. You've developed. You are not who you were. Do not ever shrink back to places God uprooted you. MANASSEH-- yesterday is over. It's a new season. There is new freedom. Nothing is wasted. He worked everything for your good and for His glory alone.
